The meaning of words

Recently I have had one of those "didn't really think about what I was saying on my Facebook and someone else finds it and questions it" moments. When I arrived at BJU there was a phrase used by a few of my friends, on Facebook. I fell into using it because we didn't really mean for anything to be put in the wrong perspective when we said it. It came to my attention though, through a phone call from a family member, that sometimes the things that we say really need to be thought out with all discernment. God gave us the gift of language, and for us to abuse it, even if we only have the best intentions, is wrong. As a Christian I need to be careful in what words I chose to use. May my speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that it may please the Lord.
